These rear baskets fit fine with my trek rear bike rack. They are high quality steel wire frame, are sturdy, and are collapsible by design. However, if you leave them so that they are collapsible they do vibrate and make noise. I prefer to keep them deployed and use tie straps and black tape to keep all the moving pieces together so it is much quieter. Even so, when you do this the baskets tend to stick out pretty far to the side and you have to be aware of them back there or you hit something with them. Another thing is that they weigh several pounds each. I purchased two and when both installed on my bike it adds a good ten pounds and that doesn't include the weight of any objects you put in them.
